Ecco nella scena un altro gruppo del genere Blink182, No Use For A Name (negli ultimi album più melodici) e Ataris. E' stata appunto la voce di quest'ultimi, Kris Roe, a "raccomandare" gli Antifreeze, dopo aver stretto amicizia durante un tour, ha deciso di portare il demo dei ragazzi alla kung fu records che gli ha proposto un accordo discografico.
Il disco "Four letter words" è un misto tra pop punk e hc melodico roba già sentita e risentita, un album poco originale insomma.. la song "On and on" non vi ricorda qualcosa? provate con "Philty phil philantrophist" dei NOfx..
Uno dei pezzi più carini è forse "Question", sempre niente di nuovo, piuttosto emo-punk come gli altri ma sicuramente con più ritmo. Anche i testi sono abbastanza sdolcinati, hanno come tema prevalentemente l'amore e i piccoli grandi sogni degli adolescenti, del resto, anche la grafica non ci lascia molto all' immaginazione, con quei cuoricini qua e là..
Tecnicamente l' album è ben suonato ma la Kung Fu records non ha fatto di certo una scoperta esaltante..
