A fare un disco sono le canzoni, per questo nuovo lavoro live dei Gang mi sento invece di dire che questo non è accaduto.
Questo disco è un'opera antologica completa e, ascoltandolo attentamente, potrete ripercorrere in un viaggio a metà tra l'allucinazione e la sublimazione tutta la loro storia. La carica emotiva che offre questo disco è unica ed inarrivabile, e nasce dall'amore che i Gang mettono nei loro concerti Live su e giù per il paese.

Questo è un disco dai mille volti, un disco all'interno del quale potrete trovare un ritratto completo dell'Italia degli ultimi cinquant'anni.
Non scopro certo io che le canzoni dei Gang narrano storie a volte lontane dalla realtà odierna, ma che loro riescono sempre a farci sentire così vicine, e la forza con cui lo fanno sembra oggi più che mai (dopo oltre 25 anni.) inesauribile.

E così, ascoltando questo disco, capita di trovarsi a cantare a squarciagola la resistenza di Nicola Sacco in "Colpevole di ghetto" e l'ostinazione di "Johnny lo Zingaro", capita di sussurrare la più bella poesia contadina mai musicata durante "La pianura dei sette fratelli", oppure capita di tornare indietro nel tempo scoprendosi ancora ragazzini mentre si canta la storia di "Dante di Nanni" degli Stormy Six.
In questo piccolo capolavoro c'è spazio anche per la canzone d'autore con "Oltre" e "Giorni", durante quegli attimi in cui la parola prende il sopravvento sulla musica e ti trasporta oltre le sbarre e i confini.
Ma c'è spazio anche per pezzi i quali posseggono una carica musicale unica e rara di questi tempi come "Non è di Maggio" e "Fino alla fine", pezzi capaci di trasportarti oltre il deserto e ancora più in là.
C'è spazio per Luigino, operaio di Colere (paesino sperduto tra i monti), ispiratore di "Sesto San Giovanni", c'è spazio per la fantasia nell'immaginare "Kowalski" e c'è spazio per alzare la voce e farci sentire durante "Fermiamoli" e la "Corte dei Miracoli".

Definire questo disco un mosaico sarebbe troppo superficiale, io preferisco definire questo capolavoro con un Puzzle dove ogni canzone si incastra perfettamente tra quella precedente e quella successiva, fino a formare un disegno di una bellezza ammaliante. speriamo di non rimanerne accecati.!!!

Il CD merita, chi conosce la Band puo'' confermare, certamente un buon modo per entrare a contatto con delle vecchie glorie del Rock Italiano non banale, usare il termine politicizzato sarebbe riduttivo...spero vi arrivi il messaggio. SUPPORTATE, se lo meritano.
