Finalmente una bella compilation che racchiude un po' di gruppi che pur venendo da parti diverse della Lombardia, trovano nella scena di Milano il loro naturale punto di sfogo, queste bands infatti si trovano qui per rappresentare il meglio che la scena punk di Milano ci offra oggi, sia per quanto riguarda il giro dei rock clubs più grandi che per quanto riguarda i centri sociali più scrausi.

Si parte alla grande con il pezzo migliore tratto da "Tensione16" delle Pornoriviste: "La notte dei leoni", perfetta per aprire una compilation, poi il livello di ignoranza resta alto con "La dolce morte" dei 200bullets, la band che ha avuto maggior impatto sulla scena milanese ultimamente: un pezzo tanto scrauso e ignorante quanto incredibilmente efficace, con quel fottuto coro che ha già fatto numerose vittime.

I Gerson a seguire mantengono alto il tasso di ignoranza con "Peso morto", un pezzo grezzo, dal testo tamarrissimo, ma molto divertente...a seguire ci si calma un po', con sonorità più melodiche, con Bredford e Often sick, fino all'ennesima esplosione di ignoranza punk con "Vendetta" dei Water Tower, un country-punk imperniato su storie di indiani e cowboy, tutto urlato, e imperniato su una melodia molto efficace, il finale è solo batteria, battiti di mani e cori a 5 voci, devastante!

Inizio di cd a bomba quindi, si prosegue poi su vari livelli: dai grandissimi Viboras (visti in azione coi Toy Dolls recentemente al Rainbow) con "Stay Away" dal ritornello contagioso ai Leben Maika, ancora troppo giovani...in realtà i pezzi che ti fan venire voglia di spingere il tasto "forward" non sono molti, ce ne sono, magari gruppi un po' troppo giovani che non reggono l'impietoso confronto con gente come i leggendari Impossibili o i mostruosi (nel senso della potenza) Skruigners.

Ma il bello di una compilation è proprio questo: vedere quali dei gruppi giovani si sa difendere e quali annegano. A breve inizierà una serie di concerti per presentare la compilation, Al Motion di Zingonia, Bloom di Mezzago, ecc...compratevi la compilation, andate ai ocncerti e date una mano alla scena milanese!
