Finally, after more than two years of activity, the punk web magazine PUNKADEKA.IT come out from the web with an incredible double cd. The compilation collects more than 50 italian and international bands who, during these years, have collaborated, in some way, with the zine, and that perfectly represents the music which Punkadeka.it is still promoting eveyday.

Without listing all the 54 bands here grouped, we can give you an example of what you can find here inside: different styles and schools starting form MARKY RAMONE & THE THE SPEEDKINGS punk rock (with an unpublished song you’ll find only in this compilation) until the dutch LULABELLES and the Italian SENZA BENZA (with a rare version produced by Joe Ramone). You mustn’t forget to listen to CRUMMY STUFF (and their unpublished version of “ We’ll be as one”), and other songs never heard from STINKING POLECATS or KILLJOINT, or others well known Italian bands like BANDA BASSOTTI, FFD, (and an unpublished version of “La ragazza dei quartieri alti”), PUNKREAS (and a new version of “Occhi puntati –’95), PORNORIVISTE and many more. In Punkadeka.it you’ll find some good street punk bands such as BOMBSHELL ROCKS, PUFFBALL and VOICE OF A GENERATION and the historical LOS FASTIDIOS; but also the most violent hardcore of the unforgettable RAW POWER (with a rare live version of “State oppression -’91) or of the SECTION 8, until the melodic hardcore of I AGAINST I, THE LAWRENCE ARMS, THE HEIDEROOSJES, TERRORGRUPPE , song recorded in Italy like MORAVAGINE, DUFF, THE SUNEATSHOURS and the american THE GAMITS and FAIRLANES.But that’s not all! Here are grouped the best emo core schools like THE PLUS NOMINATION and THE MINNIES, with an unpublished track, and many other important ska bands like the italian PERSIANA JONES, SHANDON (and their live version “Janet”) and the WATER TOWER’s most famous song titled “Disoccupazione”. Finally, the energetic punk rock of ELECTRIC FRANKESTEIN, THEE STP, the italian PEGGY POGO and the dutch SONIC DOLLS complete the offer of this compilation. There is something that differ this cd from the others and make it unique of his kind, the unpublished live version of an historical punk/HC italian band: WRETCHED.

This compilation wants to represent all the punk oriented sonorities with a particular attention in the quality and originality of the chosen bands, making a product of big quality that we think could be appreciated by the ones who listen to this kind of music, the same who are connected to Punkadeka.it everyday searching for more information about this kind music.
