TRAUMA are a punk hardcore band formed in 2022 between Milan and Pavia, born from a shared urgency to turn anger, disillusionment, and everyday experience into raw, direct, and unfiltered sound. From the very beginning, the project developed in a spontaneous DIY way: their first demo was recorded live in the rehearsal room, capturing the raw energy and immediacy that define their approach.
After a series of shows to make themselves known within the scene, where they quickly stood out for the power and impact of their live performances, the band decided to take the next step and enter the studio to work on their first album.
In December 2023, they released “Tenere lontano dalla portata dei bambini”, an 8-track record in both Italian and English, dealing with themes such as disillusionment, anger, and resistance, while still leaving space for a sense of hope emerging from the surrounding chaos.
The band’s influences are rooted in classic Italian hardcore, drawing from acts like Sottopressione, Negazione, and Skruigners. TRAUMA rework this legacy by blending old-school sounds with fresher elements, always maintaining an authentic and recognizable identity.
Their path continues to evolve with “Gocce nel mare di caos”, their latest release: eight tracks in Italian born from the friction with everyday reality. The record moves within hardcore punk coordinates, shaped by tension, nostalgia, and unease, while also marking a sonic progression from their previous work. Without abandoning their punk HC roots, the band introduces more dynamic solutions: less conventional breaks, hints of grind, and blast beats that emerge throughout the songs, making the sound more unpredictable and less tied to rigid structures.
In 2026, TRAUMA will be part of the lineup at the Punkadeka Festival 2026, bringing to the stage all the intensity and power that define their sound.
